One of my hats has me leading industry awareness and collaboration as the Chair of the Open Source Electronic Health Record Alliance (OSEHRA) Interoperability Work Group (IWG). The OSEHRA IWG is aimed at promoting the importance of testing for interoperability and standards conformance in the electronic exchange of health information. The IWG is mobilizing the community to participate in the building of Open Source interoperability solutions.

The next meeting of the OSEHRA IWG will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, 2014 from 2:30 – 3:30 PM (EST).

The topic of our fourth meeting will discuss “Who Can We Align With?” Our conversation will entail discussion with the members of the IWG regarding identifying and educating through industry conferences and forums on the existence of the IWG; defining Purpose, Goals and Objectives; Proposed Approach; Tracking Progress & Issues and Supporting Infrastructure.
